Phase III CARES Act Grants

Application Deadline: September 28, 2020

We're pleased to announce that Phase III of CARES Grant funding is now available! Phase III funding primarily provides relief to child care businesses, both public and private, that were not open April 30, and do not have CLASS scores and do not have Gold Seal designation.  These are the child care businesses that were not eligible to apply for either Phase I or Phase II funding.

In addition to Phase III funding, the ELC Broward is also reopening the application process for those child care providers that missed the deadline to apply for Phase 1 or Phase II funding. We strongly urge you to take a look at the application form and apply, if you haven’t. Unless your business is still closed, you most likely are eligible for funding under one of the CARES grant phases.

How to Apply/Application Deadline

To apply for the grant, fill out the CARES Grants Phase III Application. Then, email your completed application to caresgrants@elcbroward.org

The applications are due to ELC Broward, no later than September 28, 2020 at 5 pm.

Summary of Allocations

Allocations are based on Enhanced Field System Modernization (EFS Mod) data, with the exception that funding for public/charter school providers is based on number of SR and VPK children served, not DCF capacity. Click here to view the summary chart for the statewide allocations.
