Progress Monitoring Search Tool
We have developed the Progress Monitoring Window Tool to assist Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) providers with implementation of their Progress Monitoring (PM) windows for the Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST) VPK Assessment using the STAR Early Literacy Assessment.
This tool calculates each VPK provider's 3 Progress Monitoring windows (PM1, PM2 & PM3).
The tool is updated regularly to ensure accuracy and compliance with current requirements.
If you make any changes to your VPK calendar, including the start date, end date, or non-instructional days, update your VPK application in the Provider Portal.
If you have questions or need assistance, contact your Provider Relations Specialist.
Reminder: Conduct all FAST/STAR Early Literacy assessments during designated VPK instructional hours only.
Testing completed outside of VPK hours, including during wraparound care, may not be considered valid and may not count toward assessment requirements.
Important: Do not use the Progress Monitoring dates displayed in the Renaissance system.
Instead, refer to this Progress Monitoring Window Tool or contact your Provider Relations Specialist to confirm your program's correct testing windows.
