Judith Merritt serves as the Chief Operating Officer and oversees operations, quality management and communications. She brings over 20 years of compliance, operations and risk management experience to the organization.
Prior to joining ELC Broward, Judith was the Director of Quality, Compliance & Risk Management for Planned Parenthood Southwest & Central Florida, and was responsible for 11 Health Centers throughout Southern and Central Florida, ensuring Federal, State and Local rules, regulations and laws are adhered to. Judith’s knowledge and expertise also extends to working with children and families, with 18 years at the Children’s Home Society, the largest nonprofit child welfare organization in Florida. As the Regional Director of Quality, Judith oversaw the organization’s quality improvement processes to enhance the lives of the children and families served.
Judith obtained her Masters of Business Administration from Southampton University and has a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
