The Growing Brain 6-A: How Connections Between Various Areas of the Brain Are Expressed through Behaviors

About the Event

We are facilitating The Growing Brain Series that will take place over the course of a series of sessions on Zoom. Participants will receive 1.5 in-service hours each session they attend.

Knowledge of basic brain anatomy helps us to better understand different behaviors that young children exhibit. In the first part of unit 6 of the Growing Brain series of trainings, participants will understand how various areas of the brain are connected and expressed through different behaviors.

By the end of this training, participants will:

1. Identify basic brain anatomy

2. Discover the connection between the various areas of the brain and how these connections are expressed through behavior

Presenters: Ana Avalos-Atkinson and Natacha Herisse, Quality and Education Coaching Specialists, Early Learning Coalition of Broward County
