How to Be Specific and Encourage Children’s Efforts: Quality of Feedback in Pre-K - Part 2

About the Event

Please contact elcbtraining@elcbroward.org if you have questions or need assistance.

How important is it to give students specific affirmation, expand their thinking, and provide additional feedback? In this webinar, we will take another dive into Quality of Feedback and describe the last 3 indicators of this dimension. When teachers use effective feedback, it provides children with specific, expansive information, and helps them obtain a deeper understanding of concepts. We will address ways in which educators can implement these important strategies in their classroom.

By the end of this training, participants will:

1. List the reasons why effective feedback is needed in the Preschool Classroom

2. Define scaffolding and Feedback loops indicators that were discussed in session 1

3. Define the 3 remaining indicators of Quality of Feedback within CLASS

4. Recognize ways in which Quality of Feedback strategies can be utilized in the Preschool classroom
