(New Educator Series) Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) Part 5: Putting It All Together with Infants and Toddlers

About the Event

Please contact elcbtraining@elcbroward.org if you have questions or need assistance.

During this training, we will discuss the importance of implementing a designated curriculum, assessing the children in your classroom, and creating activities for the children that are developmentally appropriate and enhance their academic skills. In addition, participants will learn how to connect data gathered from observations/assessments to the Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards-Birth to Kindergarten, and how to develop lesson plans for children in the classroom.

By the end of this training, participants will:

  1. Recognize the importance of implementing a curriculum with infants and toddlers
  2. Discover the importance of assessing the children in your classroom
  3. Recall how to connect the observation and instruction (Lesson Plans) to the Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards

We will be on Zoom for this training and a second registration is required.

*This training is only for new educators who have been employed at their early childhood centers for approximately a year or less. Your registration will not be approved if you are a seasoned professional.
